Use discovery when the problem matters but the scope, budget or technical risks are still unclear. We review a priority workflow with your decision-maker and the people doing the work.
A focused phase is usually planned over two to four weeks, depending on access and research needs. The fee and scope are agreed after qualification, before paid work begins.
Your handover includes
- A map of the current workflow, users and important exceptions
- A proposed first release with exclusions and acceptance criteria
- A review of integrations, data, access and delivery risks
- An implementation estimate and a plan for measuring the result
The recommendation may be to configure an existing tool, run a smaller test or stop. You can use the agreed outputs with another delivery partner, subject to the engagement terms.
