Evidence available
The supplied screenshots document the admin and driver interfaces. They do not establish current adoption, system reliability or time savings. Those results need an agreed client review before publication.
The operating constraints
- Give administrators a broad operational view without overwhelming drivers
- Keep live trip details and completion actions clear on smaller screens
- Bring dispatch, people, communication, and invoicing workflows into one consistent product
Digigen’s role
Workflow planning, admin and driver interface design, and implementation of the fleet operations platform.
Design and delivery decisions
- Mapped the workflow from an unassigned load to driver assignment, trip progress and completion
- Designed separate admin and driver views around each person’s tasks
- Brought load status, scheduling, driver records, announcements, contacts and invoice preparation into the admin workspace
The delivered scope
A web application with an admin workspace for load and driver coordination, plus a driver view for assignments and trip completion.
Walk through the workflow
- Review the load. The administrator sees unassigned and active loads alongside the available drivers.
- Assign the driver. An assignment connects the load to a driver and the trip details they need.
- Follow the trip. The driver view shows the pickup and destination while the operations view groups work by its status.
- Record completion. The driver has a completion action, and the administrator can review delivered loads alongside the other work.
What the workflow enables
The demonstrated workflow brings load status and driver assignments into a shared view. Drivers have a focused trip screen, while administrators can review outstanding and completed work without relying on the same interface.
How to measure the business result
These are proposed measures for a client review, not published results. A before-and-after comparison needs an agreed baseline, review period and client approval.
- Time between a load being ready and a driver being assigned
- Calls or messages needed to confirm a trip’s status
- Missing or corrected trip records at the end of a shift
- Time spent preparing the information needed for invoicing
Technical approach
Responsive web application with separate admin and driver views, operational dashboards and status reporting.
Possible next steps
Review the workflow with the operations team and establish a measurement baseline. Location tracking, proof of delivery and exception alerts can then be considered against actual operating needs.
